Esopaz-D Capsule is a prescription medicine. It is helpful in treating stomach acidity by relieving the symptoms which include heartburn, stomach pain or irritation, and indigestion. It promotes the movement of food in the stomach to prevent nausea or vomiting.
Esopaz-D Capsule is a combination of two medicines. It is to be taken in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. In case you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. A high dose or overdose may have harmful effects on the body.
This medicine is generally well tolerated by patients. Some of the common side effects of this medicine are stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, and headache. Before taking the medicine always consult your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or if you are suffering from any severe stomach, liver, kidney disease, or any known disease.

HOW TO USE Esopaz-D CAPSULE SR
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Esopaz-D Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.
HOW Esopaz-D CAPSULE SR WORKS
Esopaz-D Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Esomeprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Pregnancy CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Breastfeeding SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Esopaz-D Capsule is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Driving UNSAFE
Esopaz-D Capsule may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney CAUTION
Esopaz-D Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Esopaz-D Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver CAUTION
Esopaz-D Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Esopaz-D Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Esopaz-D Capsule is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.
